Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
the incidence of intraoperative Hypothermia between the low flow group receiving 1 l/min FGF and routine group receiving 2l/min FGFTimepoint: after induction to end of surgery
Secondary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
amount of blood loss during surgery in between 2 groupsTimepoint: start of surgery to end of surgery;change in core temperature from baseline till end of procedure between the 2 groupsTimepoint: before induction to end of surgery;incidence of intraoperative hypothermia between the 2 groupsTimepoint: after induction to end of 1st, 2nd and 3rd hours;mean intraoperative core temperative between the 2 groupsTimepoint: after induction to end of surgery;minimum and maximum intraoperative core temperatureTimepoint: after induction to end of surgery;Proportion of total surgical time spent under HypothermiaTimepoint: total time with core temperature of less than 36 degree celsius during surgery;time of extubation after surgical closure between the 2 groupsTimepoint: surgical closure to extubation
