1)Patients undergoing lumbar disc surgeries
2)ASA grade I-III
3)Age group 18-70 years for patients scheduled for lumbar disc surgeries
1)Patient refusal
2)Previous lumbar spine surgery
3)Extensive lumbar spine surgeries like large tumor excisions, scoliosis correction or more than 2 level spine fixations.
4)BMI > 35
5)History of opioid tolerance
6)Contraindications to regional technique, eg- local infection, systemic infection, coagulopathy.
7)Allergy to any drugs used in the study
8)Pregnancy or lactation
