Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Hearing screening pass in the OAE test
  • For case\-study group: Exposed to cartoons for more than half an hour per day (Indian cartoons, Non\- Indian cartoons, Indian \& Non\-Indian Cartoons)
  • In Indian Cartoons: Children exposed to Indian based cartoons (Such as Chota Bheem, Mottu pathlu, Pakdam Pakdai, Roll No.21, Sally Bollywood, Amar Chitra Katha)
  • Non\-Indian Cartoons: Children exposed to Non\-Indian based cartoons (Pokemon, Doraemon, Shinchan, Hagemaru, Ben 10, Oggy and the Cockroaches)
  • For control group: No exposure to cartoons or Exposed to cartoons for less than or equal to half an hour per day.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Presence of any block/wax during otoscopic examination
  • Absence of OAE responses
  • Presence of any other associated conditions
