简要总结

Orthodontic treatment is a long process and it is one of the major concerns. To counteract this problem, there is a need to increase the rate of tooth movement. Various methods that can increase the rate of orthodontic tooth movement and reduce the treatment time, includes non-surgical methods like low intensity laser therapy, local injections of prostaglandins, 1, 25(OH)2D3 (the active form of vitamin D3), osteocalcin and Relaxin around the alveolar socket. Among this L-PRF & LILT are noninvasive options for accelerating the orthodontic tooth movement (OTM). Therefore, the aim of this study is to evaluate effects of L-PRF and combination of L-PRF & LILT on the rate of canine retraction**.**

入选标准

  • 1.Angle class I or class II Division 1 malocclusion with Bimaxillary protrusion 2.Extraction of maxillary 1st premolar as a treatment plan.

排除标准

  • 1.Patients with previous h/o orthodontic treatment 2.Patient with canine having dilacerated roots 3.Patients with impacted canine 4.Patients with sign of gingival periodontal disease.
  • 5.Patients with sign of gingival periodontal disease.

时间窗: 1.T0 at the start of canine retraction | 2.T1 at 3 months after the start of canine retraction | 3.T2 at the end of canine retraction
