Patients posted for elective tympanomastoidectomy under general anaesthesia requiring endotracheal intubation (surgery duration of 2-3 hours)
Weight : 50 to 70 kg
ASA I & II
Patient willing to participate in the study
Patients with systemic diseases like respiratory, cardiovascular, hepatic, renal dysfunction, epilepsy, neurological and neuromuscular disorders,
Anticipated difficult airway,
Postural hypotension,
patients on sedatives, psychiatric medications
patients with altered mental status
H/o allergy to egg protein and drugs
Pregnancy and lactating mother
Patient’s unwillingness for participation

Name Time Method To see the requirement of anaesthetic agents intraoperatively– <br/ ><br>-Propofol <br/ ><br>-Vecuronium <br/ ><br>-Sevoflurane. <br/ ><br>Timepoint: For Propofol - following induction of anaesthesia. <br/ ><br>For Vecuronium - following induction and during maintenance of anaesthesia. <br/ ><br>For Sevoflurane - During maintenance of anaesthesia.
