Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Infants born late preterm (gestational age 34weeks \- \<37 weeks) with low birth weight ( birth weight \<2500g)
  • •2\.Received breast milk exclusively during the study period.
  • •3\. Infants who take enteral feeds by 3rd day of life

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Infants with congenital anomalies/ malformations
  • •Infants who underwent GI surgery during initial hospital/ GI malformation or any
  • •condition accompanied by abnormal losses of GI juices
  • •Infants kept nil per oral for longer than 3 days of life
  • •Infants on formula feeds
