1.Infants born late preterm (gestational age 34weeks - <37 weeks) with low birth weight ( birth weight <2500g)
2.Received breast milk exclusively during the study period.
3. Infants who take enteral feeds by 3rd day of life
• Infants with congenital anomalies/ malformations
• Infants who underwent GI surgery during initial hospital/ GI malformation or any
condition accompanied by abnormal losses of GI juices
• Infants kept nil per oral for longer than 3 days of life
• Infants on formula feeds
