Inclusion Criteria
Patients aged 18-60 years of either sex, ASA physical status I/II, Duration surgical procedures Undergoing short (parotidectomy, thyroidectomy, dental extractions, laparoscopic cholecystectomy) extending up to 2 hours will be enrolled in the study.
Exclusion Criteria
Patient refusal, Hypersensitivity to the drugs being evaluated, History of pre-operative sore throat, Upper respiratory tract infection, Pregnancy, Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease/ Asthmatic patients, Cardiac patients, Hepatic/renal disease, Mallampatti grade <2
