1. age 18-80 years.
2. Clearly diagnosed with rectal cancer and treated with elective surgery.
3. KPS score >60.
4.ASA grade 1-3.
5. no urinary tract infection, urinary retention, or other urinary abnormalities documented preoperatively
6. Patients who have not undergone previous abdominal surgery
7.Voluntarily accept the study protocol and provide written consent
1. patients who are afraid of acupuncture treatment and refuse to perform it
2. patients with a combination of other serious medical diseases (hypertension, coronary heart disease, hematological diseases, etc.)
3. combined with active infection.
4. severe coagulation disorders.
5. Impaired consciousness or severe cognitive deficits.
6. patients with serious intraoperative complications who cannot successfully undergo acupuncture treatment in the early postoperative period
7. poor compliance and inability to cooperate with follow-up visits.
