Inclusion Criteria

ASA grade I or II.

Mallampati score of 1-2.

Patients who gave valid consent.

BMI < 30 kg/ square meter

Exclusion Criteria

Patients with anticipated difficult airway.

Patients requiring more than two attempts at intubation or nasogastric tube insertion.

Surgery lasting more than two hours.

Patients with pre operative sore throat or already on steroids (systemic or inhaled).

Very anxious patients or those who are unable to communicate.

Severe systemic disorder involving any particular system of respiratory or CVS or renal etc or in combination.

Patients with Diabetes Mellitus even if they are ASA II.

To compare the efficacy of Nebulised Dexamethasone and Nebulised Budesonide in reducing the incidence and severity of Post Operative Sore Throat (POST).Timepoint: After extubation. <br/ ><br>30 minutes after extubation. <br/ ><br>1 hour after extubation. <br/ ><br>1.5 hours after extubation. <br/ ><br>2 hours after extubation. <br/ ><br>4 hours after extubation. <br/ ><br>6 hours after extubation. <br/ ><br>12 hours after extubation. <br/ ><br>24 hours after extubation.
