I.Patients who are under 75 years of age
II.Patients who underwent first myocardial infarction within 6-10 weeks of reporting
III.Patients consenting to be a part of this study.
IV.Missing teeth can be taken due to any reason for the age groups including subjects with more than 30 years of age.
I.Patients with prior MI (10 or more months), heart valve replacement or any other condition limiting the ability to comply with the study protocol.
II.Exclusion criteria for DMFT index i.e. (3rd molars, unerupted teeth, congenitally missing and supernumerary teeth and teeth removed or restored for reasons other than caries
III.Chronic smokers
