Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. On invasive mechanical ventilation
- •2\. Oxygenation index \> 8 or Oxygen saturation index \>7\.5
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Esophageal injury
- •2\. Recent surgery involving esophagus
- •3\. Major bronchopleural fistula
- •4\. Solid\-organ transplants
- •5\. High Frequency oscillatory ventilation/ECMO
- •6\. Severe oral\-nasal bleeds
- •7\. Congenital heart disease
- •8\. Abnormal hemoglobin
