Inclusion Criteria
ASA I/II
Age 15 to 60 years
Patients scheduled for anterior cruciate ligament repair
Patients scheduled for medial or lateral menisectomy
Exclusion Criteria
ASA III or more
Coagulopathy
Infection at puncture site
Patient previously on chronic analgesic therapy
Patient unable to mobilze early due to other injury or co morbidities following surgery
Associated injury or disease in the same limb which was addressed during the procedure other than mentioned in inclusion criteria
Fixed deformities of the knee joint hampering evaluation
Patients refusing general anaesthesia
