Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\.Age 40 years old or older
  • 2\.at least one of the following risk factors for symptomatic knee Osteoarthritis
  • 2\.1 BMI 25 kg/m2 or more
  • 2\.2 history of a knee joint injury or surgery
  • 2\.3 knee symptoms (pain, aching, or stiffness)
  • 2\.4 radiographic knee OA grade 0\-1 of Kellgren and Lawrence classification system
  • 3\.No contraindication to exercise(AACVPR guideline)

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\.regular physical exercise
  • 2\.bilateral knee replacements; lower limb surgery in the last six months
  • 3\.back, hip or knee problems that affect walking
  • 4\.inflammatory joint or muscle disease5\.neurologic diagnoses
  • 7\.peripheral vascular
  • 8\.history of myocardial
  • infarction or stroke
  • 9\.chest pain during exercise or at rest; or need for supplemental oxygen.
