Inclusion Criteria
age from 18 to 60 yrs
asa 1-2 class
undergoing elective nasal surgeries
Exclusion Criteria
known allergy to alpha 2 adrenergic agonist or nsaids
use of MAO inhibitors or adrenergic blocking drugs
history of uncontrolled hypertension
cognitive impairment
chronic use of anti psychotic
kidney or liver disease
bmi greater or equal to 30 kg/metre square
