Inclusion Criteria

Cases-Patients with standard clinical diagnosis of :

Unilateral bacterial conjunctivitis

Early post operative endophthalmitis

Unilateral infective corneal ulcer

Unilateral Post traumatic Endophthalmitis

Unilateral chronic dacryocystitis

Controls-: Subjects attending Ophthalmology OPD

Bystanders willing to participate

-With normal ocular surface findings

Exclusion Criteria

1Patients on iron supplements

2Patients with Anemia, Haemochromatosis

3Patients with Age Related Macular disease(ARMD),Moderate to severe Dry Eye Disease(DED), Meibomian Gland disease (MGD)

4Non infective Corneal ulcer

5Subjects with connective tissue disorders

6Subjects with incomplete hospital records
