Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\) Adult patients aged between 21 and 55 years.
  • •2\) Patients scheduled for elective surgery under general anaesthesia.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1 Patient refusal to give consent.
  • •2 Patients with significant acute or chronic lung disease, pathology of the neck or upper respiratory tract,Patients with cervical spine disease or trauma.
  • •3 Patients those undergoing head and neck surgeries.
  • •Patients with increased risk of aspiration \[hiatus hernia, gastroesophageal reflux disease, full stomach, obese patients , pregnant patients.
  • •ASA grade III and IV.
  • •Laproscopic surgeries.
