Inclusion Criteria
Adult patients with primary intracerebral haemorrhage confirmed on CT brain
Event <24 hours of onset (sleep stroke - onset as bed time)
Are the trial subjects under 18? no

Exclusion Criteria
•Secondary haemorrhagic stroke (anticoagulation, known vascular malformations)
•Previous venous thrombo-embolic disease
•Recent (within 12 months) ischaemic events (ischaemic stroke, myocardial infarction, peripheral artery disease)
•Renal impairment (eGRF <50mmols)
•Pregnancy or breast feeding
•Patients who are pregnant or breast feeding
