Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Female patients of American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status classes I and II, aged between 19 and 70 years, who underwent elective robot assisted laparoscopic gynecologic surgery which maintain Trendenlenburg and CO2 insufflation time longer than an hour.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Exclusion criteria included the following: patient refusal, Body Mass Index (BMI) \> 35 kg / m2, ASA physical status class ? and IV, past history of thoracic surgery, severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, diaphragmatic paralysis and patients who are not able to cooperate.
