Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •chronic low back painwith with unilateral lumbosacral radicular pain of at least one month having a pain score of \>50%, as assessed by visual analog scale (VAS,0\-100 points)
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patients were excluded if they had any clinically significant or unstable medical or psychiatric illnesses, history of previous surgery on the lumbar spine and spinal canal stenosis, unstable neurological deficits and cauda equine syndrome. Those who have received lumbar epidural steroids injections in the past, allergic to corticosteroids, taking anticoagulants or bleeding diathesis or altered coagulation, taking systematic corticosteroids, pregnant and lactating women patients or those being treated with any investigational drug within the last 30 days were excluded from the study
