Inclusion Criteria
Healthy patients needing orthodontic treatment and requiring permanent first maxillary premolars extractions as a part of orthodontic treatment were included in our study. Patients with healthy periodontal condition, having GI score <1, without any pockets, generalized depth of probing <=n3mm, with no radiographic signs of bone loss were included in our study.
Exclusion Criteria
Patients taking various anti-inflammatory drugs, also patients with local and general systemic conditions which could influence the levels of biomarkers.
