Inclusion Criteria
Age 6 – 18 years
- Maximum FEV1 lability of = 30% during the standard ECT
- Ability to perform reproducible lung function (spirometry)
Exclusion Criteria
- Cardiac or other pulmonary disease than asthma
- Children for whom it is not possible to wear the HFNC device
- Children who are unable to breathe through their nose
- Children whose medication is changed between the two ECTs
