Inclusion Criteria

elective craniotomy, ASA I-III, GCS 14-15

Exclusion Criteria

1. Second- or third-degree atrioventricular (AV) block
2. Baseline heart rate (HR) less than 60/min
3. Ventricular dysfunction
4. Hepatic impairment
5. Chronic kidney disease (CKD) stage > 4
6. Pregnancy
7. Morbid obesity
8. On medication with alpha -methyldopa, clonidine
9. Need intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM), which no need for neuromuscular blockade
10. Currently receive more than 2 kinds of antiepileptic drugs
