The vital responses such as VO2, HR, lactate, blood pressure etc were measured at the three phase(rating perceived exertion 11,13,15) each time of walking forward and walking side in water. Only lactate was significantly higher during walking side compared with walking forward, and it became remarkably at the higher exertion.
