Inclusion Criteria
Tooth with necrotic pulp at the start of treatment
- Root growth not yet completed, apex at least 1 mm open
- Consent of the patient / legal guardian to participate in the study
- Patient has reached the age of 6 years
Exclusion Criteria
- Patients who are unable to give consent due to a disability
- Patients with chronic systemic diseases
- Allergy to an antibiotic that is used
- Periodontal disease
- Teeth with root fracture at initial presentation
- Signs of internal or external resorption at the start of treatment
- Drug, alcohol consumption
- Nicotine abuse
- Lack of compliance
- No consent to study participation by patient or legal guardian
