Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\)Age of patient 18 \-80 years.
- •2\)Patient undergoing elective lumbar spinal surgery for an extradural pathology.
- •3\) Patients who provide informed written consent for participation in the study
Exclusion Criteria
- •(1\)Intradural pathologies
- •(2\)Pathologies involving the cervical spine and thoracic spine
- •(3\)History of any psychiatric illness in the patient
- •(4\)Patients with severe respiratory cardiac, hepatic or renal dysfunction
- •(5\)Patients who have undergone a previous lumbar spine surgery.
- •(6\)History of allergy to any of the drugs being used in the cocktail.
- •(7\)Patients with ASA grade of more than 3\.
- •(8\)Patients who are on antiplatelet drugs like aspirin and anticoagulants
- •(9\)Patients with previous history of thromboembolism.
