Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Patients diagnosed with Alcohol Dependence Syndrome as per ICD\-11 criteria.
- •2\. Alcohol withdrawal assessment scoring guidelines (CIWA\-AR) score \<15\. (mild to
- •moderate withdrawals as per Maudsley guidelines)
- •3\. Age groups 25 and above.
- •4\. Male gender.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Patients who are known cases of epilepsy.
- •2\. Patient dependent on other substances except nicotine and caffeine
- •3\. Patients with past history of complicated withdrawals
- •4\. Patients who are intoxicated or are in severe withdrawals.
- •5\. Patients with comorbid active psychotic illness.
- •6\. Actively suicidal patients.
- •7\. Patients with any acute medical or surgical illness.
