be female; history of spontaneous amenorrhea for a period greater than or equal to 12 months; age between 45 and 70 years; having waist circumference greater than 80 cm associated with two more parameters; fasting blood glucose greater than 100 mg/dL; triglycerides greater than 150 mg/dL, HDL-cholesterol greater than 50 mg/dL; blood pressure greater than 130/85 mmHg or use of antihypertensive drugs.
pregnant or breastfeeding women; who have musculoskeletal disorders that compromise body movement; or some serious heart disease; history of drug and alcohol abuse.
