Inclusion Criteria

1. Volunteer to be as the subject;
2. in line with diagnostic criteria of PBC;
3. in line with Chinese medicine syndrome of deficiency of liver-yin and kidney-yin;
4. To be aged 30 to 65 years old.

Exclusion Criteria

1. autoimmune hepatitis and primary sclerosing cholangitis overlap syndrome;
2. with hepatic encephalopathy or Upper gastrointestinal bleeding;
3. complication with other chronic liver diseases and liver cancer;
4. take glucocorticoid.
