1. All patients giving informed
consent to participate in the study.
2. Patients with renal stones in whom PCNL operation was indicated and or necessary.
1. Patient not consenting for inclusion in the above trial.
2. Patients with pregnancy, mental disorders or illness who cannot understand or comply with the study protocol.
3. Patients in whom PCNL was contraindicated (uncorrected
coagulopathy,CRF) , etc.
4. Patients with large stone burden, stone size >3cm in size, staghorn calculus, bilateral renal stone, ureteric stones and multiple renal stones needing multiple tracts
5. Patients with severe co morbidities (acute MI, bleeding diathesis, multi organ dysfunction)unfit for surgery/PCNL.
6. Patients with known h/o hypersensitivity/anaphylaxis/CI
to Bupivacaine or its components

Name Time Method Analgesic requirement & Post op pain VAS score <br/ ><br>at 6hrs,12hrs,24hrs,48hrs, Urine leak and fall in hematocrit. <br/ ><br>Timepoint: 6hrs,12hrs,24hrs,48hrs and time till discharge
