1. All clinically diagnosed patients of plantar fasciitis with failed conservative management presenting in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation OPD, SMS Medical College, Jaipur
2. Age >18 years
3. Those giving signed informed consent for study
4. =3 of the VAS present at the first steps taken in the morning
5. Reproducible pain and tenderness on palpation in medial plantar surface of foot.
6. Windlass test (reproducing pain by extension of first metatarsal joint)
7. Ultrasound evaluation showing plantar fascia thickness of =4 mm.
1.Age less than 18 years
2.History of any injection to the plantar fascia or ESWT to the heel in the past 6 months
3.History of trauma, fracture or any other surgeries leading to any functional limitation of the affected foot
4.Pain related to peripheral neuropathy or ischemia
5. History of any systemic disorders or bleeding disorders or intake of anticoagulants
6.Local or systemic infection on the date of procedure.
7.Patients not giving signed informed consent for study.
