Inclusion criteria
Infants who are born or anticipated to be born at 32 weeks or later and before 37 weeks of gestational age.
Neonates who live within 100 km of the hospital to allow for follow-up appointments to the hospital.
Eligibility criteria
Infants who are born or anticipated to be born between 38 and 41 weeks gestation will be eligible for participation.
The infants should be born after uncomplicated pregnancy and delivery, which will be screened by obstetricians.
Exclusion criteria
Infants who are diagnosed with any congenital or chromosomal abnormality that could affect the neurodevelopmental outcome.
Infants who are diagnosed infectious or inflammatory disease that could affect the neurodevelopmental outcome.
Infants who have a contraindication to MRI.
Exclusion criteria
Infants who cannot undergo MRI.
