Inclusion Criteria

The American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status classification (1-3) among patients who are hospitalized for upper or lower extremity surgery in which an arterial blood test is performed through an arterial tube during surgery at Korea University Ansan Hospital, Korea University Anam Hospital, and Korea University Guro Hospital.

Exclusion Criteria

-Patients who refuse to participate in the study, refuse ultrasound of the lungs
-In case of hemodynamically unstable condition before surgery
-Pulmonary surgery patients/laparoscopic surgery patients
-Patients with lung abnormalities such as pneumonia before surgery, and previous intra thoracic procedure
-If recovery is difficult even with hypoxia protocol due to hypoxia before/during surgery
-Patients expected to have difficulty securing airways
-Patients with mental retardation
-Patients unable to interpret Korean
