FOR CONTROL GROUP: Non practitioner of Simplified Kundalini Yoga and any other form of yoga with moderate physical activity everyday below 30 mins (assessed using GPAQ).
Age matched, similar biopsychosocial, MoCA >26, lifestyle, dietary intake, sleep profile.
FOR EXPERIMENTAL GROUP: Willing participants around 18-28 years of age having Simplified Kundalini Yoga as an integral part of their daily life
FOR CONTROL GROUP: Inability to perform yogic practices due to any physical challenges
Those with evidence of comorbidities of non- communicable diseases like heart, liver or kidney dysfunction, significant lung diseases and significant visual impairment;
Individuals having a resting heart rate >100 beats/min, uncontrolled diabetes mellitus with blood glucose measuring greater than or equal to 400 mg/dL and blood pressure >160 mmHg systolic, >100 mm Hg diastolic;
Individuals having major surgery in the last year or planning to undergo future surgeries
Individuals practicing yoga of any school
Simplified Kundalini Yoga practitioners below 18 years and above 28 years of age
FOR EXPERIMENTAL GROUP: Inability to perform yogic practices due to any physical challenges
