Brief Summary

Cesarean section (CS) is oneof the most common surgeries occurring in the world.

Even though there are various treatment options availableto reduce the postoperative pain, it still remains a problem in clinicalpractice. Postoperative pain is an unavoidable complication of CS, seriouslyaffecting the patient’s recovery and satisfaction and increasing thepostoperative length of stay and direct cost.

It is found that there isnot enough data available on the role of day time variation in post cesareanpain. Hence the present study will be done to compare the postoperativeanalgesic requirements between women undergoing cesarean section in the morningand afternoon.
