Paclitaxel is a chemotherapeutic agent marketed under the brand name Taxol among others. Indication

Used in the treatment of Kaposi's sarcoma and cancer of the lung, ovarian, and breast. Abraxane® is specfically indicated for the treatment of metastatic breast cancer and locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer.
