入排标准
入选标准
- •(1) age between 18 and 50 years(2) history of at least one ankle sprain (3) at least one episode of giving away in the previous 6 months(4) ankle pain of intensity more than 3 points on an 10 point numerical pain rate scale(NPRS)
排除标准
- •(1) fracture in the lower extremity,
- •(2) any concomitant lower extremity pathology, for example, vascular disease.
- •(3) pregnancy
- •(4)patients having needle phobia or hypersensitivity to metals.
- •(5)Unable to give consent due to communication, cognitive.
- •(6)Altered sensations over foot region
- •(7)h/o syncope, skin conditions like psoriasis, open or infected wound on calf/feet.
- •(8) The presence of coagulopathy or use of anticoagulants according to medical criteria
