入选标准
- •Aged 18 years or over
- •Underwent head and neck free-flap reconstructive surgery (any flap type) either for malignant or benign tumours or other benign conditions.
- •Currently admitted to the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse Head and Neck Surgical Ward
- •Willingness to provide informed consent and willingness to participate and comply with the study requirements.
- •Have sufficient English language proficiency to read and understand the study-related materials.
排除标准
- •Significant cognitive impairment or delirium preventing informed consent
- •Medically unstable or too unwell to participate (e.g., participants experiencing significant pain, fatigue, distress, or postoperative complications).
- •Speech intelligibility <80% (this will preclude voice recording and transcription)
