•1. Patients with oral mucosal lesions of size less than 5 cm in its greatest dimension.
•2. Age group- 18-60 years

•1.With systemic diseases like diabetes mellitus, hypertension, thyroid disorders, immunocompromised state, etc.
•2.H/O chemotherapy or radiotherapy
•3.On long-term antibiotic, steroid or antiplatelets
•4.Active local and/or systemic infection
•5.Pregnant and lactating women and those taking oral contraceptives.
•6.Hemoglobin level less than 10 gm/dL
•7.Platelet count less than 100 ×103/µL
•8.H/O allergy to local anesthetic agents like Xylocaine.
•9.Chronic Alcoholic- >4 drinks/day or 14-15 drinks in a week.
•10. Smoker- 100 cigarettes in his/her lifetime or currently smokes cigarettes.
