简要总结

It is randomised comparative study comparing ultrasound guided erector spinae plane block and local skin infiltration for postoperative analgesia in adult patients undergoing lumbar spine surgery under general anaesthesia with a sample size of 60(30 in each group). Study will be conducted at ABVIMS Dr RML hospital New Delhi, India. Primary outcome will be comparison of duration of analgesia using VAS score.

入选标准

•Age between 18 to 80 yrs 2) ASA 1&2.

排除标准

•Preexisting coagulation disorder 2) Infection at site of injection 3) Allergy to Bupivacaine.

结局指标

主要结局

Duration of analgesia from time of administration of block to time of first rescue analgesia

时间窗: VAS score at 15 min, 30 min, 1hr, 1.5hr, 2hr, 4hr and 6 hr interval

次要结局

1) Haemodynamic parameters- Heart rate,blood pressure, mean arterial pressure and saturation(2)Adverse effects of drugs- Hypotension, nausea, vomiting)
