- •1.Proven histological diagnosis of esophageal cancer
- •2.ECOG performance status 0,1
- •3.Cardiopulmonary reserve adequate for esophageal surgery
- •4.American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) grade I or II
- •5.Treatment plan of total esophageal resection
- •6.Esophageal substitution by stomach tube
- •7.Posterior mediastinal route of reconstruction
- •8.Patient available for follow up
排除标准
- •1.Patients with a known allergy to erythromycin or other macrolides
- •2.Pyloric drainage procedure performed
- •3.Colonic reconstruction
- •4.Pregnant women
- •5.Patients on prokinetic drugs, astemizole, terfenadine and pimozide
