- •Glaucoma implants
- •Group 1: Drug therapy only (drops); adults (= 50 years) with open angle glaucoma; time of diagnosis and start of drug therapy at least 12 months ago; at least 6 months postoperatively after implantation; visual acuity in the better eye = 30%
- •Group 2: Micro-Stent ± drug therapy (drops); adults (= 50 years) with open angle glaucoma; time of diagnosis and start of drug therapy at least 12 months ago; visual acuity in the better eye = 30%
- •Written declaration of consent by the patient
- •German language skills that allow participation in the study
- •cochlea implants
- •Group 1: Postlingual deafness and implantation; middle age
- •Group 2a: Prelingual deafness and childhood implantation
- •Group 2b: Parents of participants from group 2a
- •Minimum wearing period of the cochlea implant of 12 months after implantation
- •Minimum age of 18 years
- •Written declaration of consent by the patient
- •German language skills that allow participation in the study
- •Cardiovascular implants
- •At least 6 months postoperatively after implant insertion
- •Minimum age of 18 years
- •Written declaration of consent by the patient
- •German language skills that allow participation in the study
