1 pregnant women aged more than 18 years old
2 regular attends ANC
3 Deliver at Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital
3.1 Hypercalcemic status:
a) Abnormal parathyroid gland function
b) Malignancy
c) Vitamin-D metabolic disorders
d) Disorders related to high bone-turnover rates
e) Renal failure
f) Other causes
3.2 Hypocalcemic status
a) Parathyroid hormone [PTH] deficiency or malfunction
b) Vitamin D deficiency
c) Hypermagnesemia
d) Hypomagnesaemia.
4.Pregnancy with chronic hypertension
5. Malnutrition
6. receive calcium from other sources
7. Unable to attend ANC routinely
8. Deliver at other hospitals
