Inclusion Criteria
Fluent in the German language.
ICD 10 Diagnosis of severe TD by expert clinician.
Chronic thalamic DBS for at least 12 weeks.
Exclusion Criteria
Active suicidal or homicidal ideation within last 6 months
Current psychotic symptomatology
Active or recent substance abuse (except intake of cannabis-based substances, if consumed for treatment of tics and if they are paused 72 hours before the experiment)
Serious systemic medical disease that requires treatment
Clinically relevant neurological disorder of the central nervous system such as stroke, epilepsy, neoplasia
Mental retardation or other unstable psychiatric disorder that requires treatment
