Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Patients aged between 18 to 60 years, of either gender, belonging to ASA I
  • •and II\[no other prevailing illness or illness which are under control with medication, posted for hand
  • •or forearm surgery, that can be done using upper limb block, not requiring motor block will be enrolled for the study.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Patients who need general anaesthesia, who need motor blockade, who are
  • •not willing to be awake during surgery, with known allergy to the anesthetic
  • •drug ropivacaine known difficult airway and who are
  • •more than ASA II physical status will be excluded.
