Inclusion Criteria
Attending either the RBWH wound clinic or QUT Wound Healing Service
Any break in the skin on the lower leg
Diagnosed by the clinician as primarily of venous aetiology
(ABPI > 0.8 < 1.2)
Exclusion Criteria
Cognitive impairment
Ulcers of non-venous aetiology
Clinical signs of infection
Unable to understand English
Wheelchair bound
