Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Patient diagnosed with chronic periodontitis, as per AAP 1999 criteria
- •Mean age: 30\-60 yrs.
- •Probing depth \>\= 5 mm
- •Clinical Attachment Loss \>\= 3mm
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patients with systemic diseases.
- •Patients who have undergone periodontal treatment in the last six months.
- •Use of anti\-inflammatory drugs and antibiotics in the last six months.
- •Pregnant and lactating mothers.
- •Radiation or immunosuppressive therapy.
- •Smokers, alcoholics and drug abusers
