Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Patient diagnosed with chronic periodontitis, as per AAP 1999 criteria
  • •Mean age: 30\-60 yrs.
  • •Probing depth \>\= 5 mm
  • •Clinical Attachment Loss \>\= 3mm

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Patients with systemic diseases.
  • •Patients who have undergone periodontal treatment in the last six months.
  • •Use of anti\-inflammatory drugs and antibiotics in the last six months.
  • •Pregnant and lactating mothers.
  • •Radiation or immunosuppressive therapy.
  • •Smokers, alcoholics and drug abusers
