•Extraction of first premolars as a treatment plan
•Periodontally sound dentition
•Sound general health and not under any medication

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method On the models, the mesial cusp tip of first molar (R1) and the canine cusp tip (R2) will be taken as reference points. The distance between R1 and R2 will be measured on all two models for each patient by a digital calliper (AEROSPACE, China) accurate to +/- 0.02 mm.Timepoint: â?¢T0 â?? Before the commencement of en-masse retraction

â?¢T1 â?? At the end of 2 months of en-masse retraction

â?¢T2 â?? On completion of en-masse retraction
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method 1.To compare the effect of LILT on the rate of orthodontic tooth movement during en-masse retraction in maxillary and mandibular dental arch respectively.Timepoint: â?¢T0 â?? Before the commencement of en-masse retraction

â?¢T1 â?? At the end of 2 months of en-masse retraction

â?¢T2 â?? On completion of en-masse retraction;2.To compare the effect of LILT on the rate of orthodontic tooth movement during en-masse retraction on right and left side in maxillary and mandibular dental arch respectively.Timepoint: â?¢T0 â?? Before the commencement of en-masse retraction

â?¢T1 â?? At the end of 2 months of en-masse retraction

â?¢T2 â?? On completion of en-masse retraction
