Inclusion Criteria
1. Subjects diagnosed to have dyslipidemia as per the diagnostic criteria
2. Subjects between age group 25 to 60 years
3. Subjects belonging to either sex irrespective of socioeconomic status and caste
4. Subjects who are fit to undergo virechana
5. Subjects willing to participate in the study and ready to sign informed consent form
Exclusion Criteria
1. Dyslipidemia due to endocrine pathologies, renal pathologies
2. Dyslipidemia due to drugs eg. Glucocorticoids
3. Uncontrolled hypertension, diabetes mellitus and other systemic disorders
4. Impaired renal, hepatic and cardiac function
