入选标准
- •As per Definition of Type 2 Respiratory Failure
- •pH < 7.35
- •Hypoxia- PaO2 <60 MM OF HG
- •Hypercapnia- PaC02 > 45 MM OF HG
- •RR >30/min or <12/min
- •Patients with type 2 respiratory failure started on NIV as per physicianâ??s decision are also included in the study.
排除标准
- •Hemodynamic and cardiac instability
- •(Hypotension BP <90/60 mm Hg,Unstable angina, MI ,arrythmia )
- •Pneumothorax
- •Need for intubation to protect airways
- •Impending respiratory arrest
- •Facial deformity/trauma
- •Hypersensitivity to mask material
- •Claustrophobia
- •Upper airway obstruction
- •Severe GI bleed
