Inclusion Criteria
1.Patients posted laparoscopic cholecystectomy under general anaesthesia
2.Age 18-60 years
3.ASA grade I and II
Exclusion Criteria
1.Patients with history of allergy to any medication
2.BMI >30Kg/m2
3.Preoperative HR <45/min
4.Patients using antihypertensive drug like clonidine(a2 adrenergic agonist
5.Renal or hepatic insufficiency
6.Patients with bleeding disorders
7.Patients with psychiatric disorders
8.Surgical procedure converted to open cholecystectomy
